The data collected on Talenote.com is processed by the Website Operator. The Operator’s contact details can be found in the website’s required legal notice.

Some data is provided by the user, via uploads, contact forms, etc. 

Other data is collected automatically by the IT systems during the user’s visit. This is primarily technical data such as the browser and operating system used to access the page. Part of the data is collected to ensure the proper functioning of the website. Other data can be used to analyze how visitors use the site.

Revocation Of User’s Consent To The Processing Of User’s Data

Many data processing operations are only possible with the user’s express consent. One may revoke their consent at any time with future effect. An email with such a request is sufficient. The data processed before the Operator receives the user’s request may still be legally processed.

The user always has the right to request information about their stored data, its origin, its recipients, and the purpose of its collection at no charge. The Operator of Talenote.com treats user’s personal data as confidential and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and for the protection of the transmission of confidential content, such as the inquiries you send to us as the site Operator. 

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, third parties cannot read the data the user transfers to Talenote.com.

Please note that data transmitted via the internet (e.g. via email communication) may be subject to security breaches. Complete protection of user data from third-party access is not possible.

4. PERSONAL DATA

Acceptance of General Terms and Conditions of our Service and use of the Service is a basis for personal data processing.

You are allowed to ask the Administrator to access to your personal data, remove or change personal data, or limit the processing of your personal data. You are allowed to disagree with your personal data processing or withdraw your consent.

Your personal data are not subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.

Your personal data will be kept for the time of Service use and after 1 year after closing your Service account.

Users’ personal data will be processed when it is necessary to:

1) providing services related to the use of the Talenote.com application,

2) fulfillment of legal obligations incumbent on the administrator of personal data pursuant to art. 6 sec. 1 lit. c GDPR, resulting from EU law or Polish law,

3) for purposes arising from legitimate interests pursued by the administrator or a third party on the basis of which the administrator considers in particular: investigation, determination and defense against claims, fraud prevention, ensuring the security of the ICT environment, determination of conflicts of ethical interests to the extent necessary to counteract abuse, for archival and statistical purposes,

4) for marketing purposes carried out by the administrator or a third party by means of a newsletter.

Personal data may be made available to entities from the following categories: cooperating with the administrator: IT specialists, graphic designers, marketing specialists, database administrators, entities authorized under applicable law and entities providing postal and courier services.

Personal data is stored for the period necessary to provide legal assistance, and after its completion, they are stored for the purposes of any complaints or accounting and tax purposes, but not longer than for a period of 5 years.

The administrator guarantees the fulfillment of all rights under the provisions of the GDPR, i.e. the right to access personal data, rectify and delete data, limit their processing, the right to transfer them, not to be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling, as well as the right to object to data processing.

The user has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body, which is the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection (address: General Inspector for Personal Data Protection, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland), when he considers that the processing of personal data concerning him violates the provisions of the GDPR.

Providing personal data is voluntary, but it is a condition for using the website and joining the newsletter. The storage of data for tax and accounting purposes results from the requirements of the law. The consequence of not providing personal data is the inability to use the application and use the newsletter.

5. DATA COLLECTION ON OUR WEBSITE

COOKIES

Talenote.com uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the user’s device and saved by the browser. Cookies do not harm the user’s device or contain viruses. Cookies help make the website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure.

Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze the user’s experience and behavior. The information generated by the cookies about one’s use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google Analytics cookies are stored based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The Website operator is interested in analyzing user’s behavior to optimize both its website and its advertising.

Objecting To The Collection Of Data

The user can prevent the collection of their data by Google Analytics. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent their data from being collected on future visits to this site.

Google reCAPTCHA 

Talenote.com “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on the website. This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the data entered on the website (such as on a contact form) has been entered by a human or by an automated program. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the user enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, how long the visitor has been on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses take place completely in the background. Website users are not advised that such an analysis is taking place.

Data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The Website Operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its site from abusive automated crawling and spam.

8. NEWSLETTER

Newsletter Data

If the user would like to receive Talenote newsletter, a valid email address is required as well as information that allows Talenote.com to verify that the user is the owner of the specified email address and agrees to receive this newsletter. No additional data is collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. Talenote.com only uses this data to send the requested information and does not pass it on to third parties.

Talenote.com will, therefore, process any data the user enters into the contact form only with their consent per Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. The user can revoke consent to the storage of their data and email address as well as their use for sending the newsletter at any time, e.g. through the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The data processed before the Operator receives the user’s request may still be legally processed.

The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to distribute the newsletter until the user cancels their subscription when said data will be deleted. Data stored for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the members’ area) remain unaffected.
