Story Background



You can change the background of your presentation in the „Story Settings” section. By default, the background of your presentation is white.

You can change the background in each section separately. Read more about setting the background color in the individual sections here.  

You can set the background color of your presentation in two ways:

  • Using the color slider 
  • Using the HEX number

You can also select color samples in the „Story Background” section. Read more about color swatches here.

  1. Setting the background color by selecting a color from the color palette in the Story Background:
  1. Click the settings icon (the „sprocket” icon) in the editor in the upper right corner
  2. Find the „Story Background” below „Story Cover”
  3. Select the color on the color scale slider located below the large color rectangle
  4. You will see the background color change immediately on your slide
  5. Once you have selected the color, you can adjust its hue and brightness
  6. To do this, move the circle icon on the large color rectangle to your preferred location
  7. Once you have selected a color, you can also adjust the opacity of the color on a particular section
  8. You can do this by moving the slider corresponding to transparency, located below the large color rectangle and the color scale slider
  1. Setting the background color by entering the HEX number in the „Story Background”:
  1. Click the settings icon (the „sprocket” icon) in the Editor in the upper right corner
  2. Find the „Story Background” below „Story Cover”
  3. Type in the HEX number, or select the color on the color scale slider and copy the number that will appear after you select the color
  4. You will see the background color change immediately on your slide
  5. The HEX number will update if you change the hue, brightness or transparency of a particular color
    • To change the hue and brightness, move the circle icon on the large color rectangle to your preferred location
    • To change transparency, move the slider corresponding to transparency, located below the large color rectangle and the color scale slider
