You can choose the text font in the „Block Settings” section. 

Detailed description: 

• To access the „Block Settings,” click the text block on the slide
• Find „Font Family” in the „Paragraph” section in the right toolbar
• Choose the font from the drop-down list 
• You will see changes immediately in the text block
